Enrollment has risen by more than 50 students in preschool through grade 5 over the past 10 years. New housing being developed means our schools could welcome at least 35 more new students.
Three new classrooms which would bring the total to 23.
Three spaces will be reconfigured for small group instruction, which would bring the total to six.
Two spaces would be dedicated rooms for Art and Music.

The current large lecture hall, business classroom, and an underused office would be renovated to meet the growing business and computer science curriculum needs.
2500 sq. ft. of instructional space could be gained as a result of the construction of a new gym on the athletic complex by moving the wrestling room, making space for future growth of new HMHS academic programs.
Current conditions mean:
Services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, academic support and testing are held in areas not designed for these uses, such as hallways and windowless storage rooms that decrease privacy and/or increase distraction.
The crunch for classroom space has pushed aside some “specials.” World Language lessons often travel on carts. Some music instruction is held in the Media Center or former computer labs. Gifted and Talented programs scrounge for any available space.
